Input Setup

In this section, DFE rule input methods are explained.

Most of DFE rule checking needs classifications, target nets, target components, and target circuits. The classified nets, components and circuits are used as target objects in rule checking.

DFE Input

Manage rule checking for classifications, target nets, target components, and target circuits.

From the main menu of PollEx Logic, click Option > DFE > Input.
The PollEx-DFE Input dialog opens. The dialog contains the following sections:
  • Classification: This section of dialog is used to classify power rails, nets, components, and circuits to be checked. Refer to Object Group Setting for managing classifications.
  • Check Item Category: In this section, Logic DFE checks those rules with the check box marked with .
  • Return Icon: Change a mode from Input dialog to Individual Rule Entry dialog or vice versa.
  • Save: Save current rule status and values into a DFE rule file.
  • Save As: Save current rule status and values into an arbitrary DFE rule file.
  • Load: Load a saved DFE rule file that has a file name extension *.SDFEI.
  • Net’s input setting: Shows each Component and Net used for each Item and Component/Net Group.
  • Start Checking: After finishing set up rules, click this button to start DFE rule checking.
  • Close: Close DFE Input dialog.
