Gerber to PCB
Gerber to PCB is a PCB generator from graphical Gerber or ODB++ file which is non-intelligent data.

To make the intelligent PCB design data, you need to set layers of component, drill, and stack-up.
Combine IPC-D-356 Data
After defining the layer settings, combine the IPC-D-356 data to generate component and net data. Imported IPC data should be moved (if not matched together).

  - Block JIG Generator
    Block JIG Generator is used for the purpose of stable supporting the bare PCB and evenly applying lead in the screen printer equipment that prints the solder cream during the SMD process.
  - Compare GDSII
    The Compare GDSII function performs the function of verifying the consistency between the data in the specific layer of PDBB and the GDSII file.
  - Gerber to PCB
    Gerber to PCB is a PCB generator from graphical Gerber or ODB++ file which is non-intelligent data.

    - ODB++ GUI
      To make intelligent PCB design data, you have four different processes, Layer Setting, Make Component, Make Netlist, and Result Information.

      Launch Gerber + IPC-D-356.
    - Gerber + IPC-D-356 GUI
      To make the intelligent PCB design data, you need to set layers of component, drill, and stack-up.
      - Layer Setting
        To generate a PCB design file using Gerber files, you must properly load the necessary files for the layers. When the data is imported into PollEx PCB, you need to define layers of the Gerber files.
      - Combine IPC-D-356 Data
        After defining the layer settings, combine the IPC-D-356 data to generate component and net data. Imported IPC data should be moved (if not matched together).
      - Result Information
        Once PCB design generation is complete, review the results of Summary, Net Information, and Net Error Data.
  - Make Board Paneling
    Use Make Board Paneling to modify the data designed with a single sub board into an array type to use manufacturing related features, such as Metal Mask Manager, Mounting Emulator, Block JIG Generator, and Router-Machine JIG Generator.
  - Metal Mask Manager
    Metal Mask Manager is a tool that can register standard metal mask database, manage metal mask changing history, and check differences between design and standard metal mask.
  - Mounting Data Extractor
    The PollEx Mounting Data Extractor function extracts components and PCB information for chip mounter from PCB design data. It is included in the PollEx PCB Modeler.
  - Mounting Emulator
    Mounting Emulator is a mounter assembly checking toolset based on 3D package part libraries constructed with Unified Part Editor (UPE).
  - Router-Machine JIG Generator
    Quickly generate design drawing for manufacturing JIG using PCB design data and panel PCB Gerber of array board.
  - Solder Quantity Calculator
    The Solder Quantity Calculator provides evidence to get numerical calculation and solder quantity based on whole mask space and user-defined conditions.

Combine IPC-D-356 Data

After defining the layer settings, combine the IPC-D-356 data to generate component and net data. Imported IPC data should be moved (if not matched together).

Load IPC-D-356 data: Click Browse to select an IPC-D-356 file.
The supported format is IPC-D-356, IPC-D-356-A, and IPC-D-356-B.
Generate component: Click Generate Component.
PADs display on the screen.

Match Location with Gerber: For mismatched data, move, rotate, or mirror the IPC data.
- Rotate90: The IPC data is rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Mirror: The IPC data is flipped horizontally.
- IPC-D-356: Select a reference pin in the IPC data after you click IPC-D-356. The selected pin is cross marked. The X and Y coordinates are automatically entered on the table.

- Gerber: Select Gerber. Choose a reference pin in the Gerber data. The X and Y coordinates are automatically entered on the table.
Apply: The IPC data is moved to the Gerber data by matching the reference pin of both data.

Generate Net Data: Generate nets to convert as the intelligent PCB data.
The progress bar displays the net generating status in the PCB design.
