NFX-T: 1060 Tank Sloshing Taurus Tank
Tutorial Level: Beginner Set up simple single-phase tank case for tank sloshing simulation using SimLab for CFD-nanoFluidX solution. Fuel distribution and sloshing behavior will be analyzed and velocity, and forces will be computed.

- Model Description
-
- The model consists of gas tank bottom and top parts which are connected at the flange to form a closed geometry (1.122 X 0.658 X 0.241 m) and tank closures
- Materials are directly assigned to each body and nanoFluidX phase are defined
- Boundary conditions, such as initial condition, and global acceleration field are defined
- Particle mesh using particles is created.
In this lesson you will learn how to:
- Import discrete models STL file
- Select unit system
- Define SPH flow solution
- Define oil properties
- Define initial condition
- Define body force
- Create SPH particles
- Set solver settings
- Set result request
- Check simulation data
- Run the model in SimLab
- Perform basic post-processing in SimLab
Note: A PDF version of this tutorial is available in the Model Files section.
