Since version 2026, Flux 3D and Flux PEEC are no longer available.
Please use SimLab to create a new 3D project or to import an existing Flux 3D project.

Thermal region: about
What we can simulate?
With regions it is possible to describe:
- material media such as:
-
conducting material media (thermal conductivity k) with possibly a heat source (imposed value of thermal flux)
-
- boundary conditions of the following types:
- heat transfer (on faces)
- imposed temperature (on faces or lines)
- insulated face (adiabatic boundary)
3D specificity
In 3D problems, it is also possible to describe thin conducting regions with thermal exchanges on both faces.
