Analytical formulas

Introduction

This section presents the analytical formulas used to model parallelepiped-shaped portions of conductors connected in parallel with the PEEC method.

To facilitate comprehension, the formulas are initially presented in the simplified case of filiform conductors (negligible cross-section area), then extended to the real case of volume conductors.

With a perfect ground plane, the method of the images allows the computation of equivalent partial inductances.
