Add Comments

The new comments feature enables you to discuss about the contents of a file or folder that are shared. It can be accessed from the comments tab and the 3D viewer.

Comments with Markup

Mark the 3D model details using Markup in the 3D viewer and attach it as an image along with your comment. The comments and markups will be automatically shared to all the users to whom file is shared.

Scene Explorer

Capture the visualization state of 3D support content using Scene Explorer. You can add markups to the scenes and then attach them with your comment. The scenes can be saved, updated, deleted and restored.

Section Explorer

View predefined section cuts using Section Explorer in the 3D viewer. Define sections cuts using the Spec Authoring Tool in the HyperView application. Export the predefined sections as a specification JSON file to the MyFiles location in Drive. Use the specification JSON file to generate preview, to view the 3D preview of a model and the section cuts. using the section explorer. These sections can be shared with another user by sharing the file.

Shared Folder Support

• SharedWithMe: In this directory, all the shared files are categorized and displayed by the user who have shared the files with you.
• Account Folder: The Administrators can create a global Account Directory at the root location. View access is commonly provided to all users. The Account administrators or Group heads are provided with special permissions, to add their project-related files and folders in the Account folder. They can also update and share their content with their team members with desired permissions.

You can launch Altair Simulation version 2021.1 products using the Altair One platform.

3D Viewer

Improved performance while loading large model files in 3D Viewer.

The Generate Preview feature supports the passing of a specification file to preview sections cuts of a model file.

Shared Files and Folders

The shared files or folders can be sorted using the Shared On and Shared by columns. The 'Shared On' provides the date and time of the files are shared with you. The 'Shared by' provides the user name who shared the file with you. Additionally, you can filter the shared files and folders list by a user name.
