Team Management

WA allows you to incorporate granular user access control at the Program, Variant, Version, and Product levels.

Access control can be assigned to users or to groups. At each level WA Administrators can specify which user or group of users have access to the specific database entity.

A user that has read and write access to the Program level team will able to see the program data and its sub-entities in the Program tree (Versions, Variants, and Products).

The following section provides the permission matrix for all the levels that exist in the Program tree.

When providing full access at the Program level, the access rights automatically propagate to its sub-entities in the program tree that include Versions, Variants, and Products. Therefore, the complete breakdown structure is available.

The same top-down access rights propagation mechanism takes place when giving access at version or variant level. At the same time, users are restricted the visibility at any level. You can also assign a user to a Program, Version, Variant, or Product with ready-only access.

For example, if the Administrator may want to give full access at the Program, Version, or Variant level and completely remove users from a specific product, they will not nbe able to see these details.
