Highlights

Code numbering management.
- For advanced numbering function to UPMS CPN, UDMS design project number, ASSY PCB/PBA number, and BOM variant number, numbering rule management has added in system management.
- The location of the function management is in System Management in the Management tab.

Design revision and version setting function.
- A function has been created to set the design revision and version in UDE for supporting the various requests of customers.
- The location of the function management is in UDMS Management, Default Setting in the Management tab.

  If you want to maintain the design revision when you try to revise the design project, you can choose the option to maintain the version.

Support of EMS company in UDMS, UBMS.
- In the case of the EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) companies, they get production files (like the part list file, Gerber file, and so on) from the ordering company. In this situation, they manage the personal PC, or the shared folder, in their intranet. In this case, they may find it difficult to find final files of the ordering company or some histories of those files even if they manage them well.
- The UDE can manage files of the ordering company and create the BOM from the part list file of the ordering company.

Inspection request.
- The UDE cannot be modified every time the additional process class and its inspection request is requested. As a result, the Adding the inspection request condition has been added.
- The location of the function management is in UDMS Management, Design environment setting in the Management tab.

Adding the mechanical part favorite function.
- Currently, adding mechanical parts are done one by one. This can be time consuming if there are many parts to be added. As a result, a function has been added on UDE to reduce this time.
- The location of the function management is in UBMS, Favorites mechanical part in the Management tab.

Add an optional feature to set the Master BOM and Variant BOM display items differently.
- A function has been added which sets a modified BOM list different from the master BOM list.
- The location of the function management is in UBMS Management, CAD specific BOM setting in the Management tab.

In this example, variant BOM list columns as Batch type, Part coordinates X, and Part coordinates Y have been removed.

New Features

Code numbering management: For advanced numbering function to UPMS CPN, UDMS design project number, ASSY PCB/PBA number, and BOM variant number, numbering rule management has been added in system management.
Design revision and version setting function: This function has been created to set the design revision and version in UDE for supporting the various requests of customers.
Supporting EMS company in UDMS, UBMS, and UPMS: The UDE can manage files of the ordering company and create the BOM from the part list file of the ordering company.

Enhancements

Inspection request: The inspection request condition has been added so the UDE can be modified.
Add an option to store frequently used mechanical parts as favorite parts: To reduce the time required to add frequently used mechanical parts, it is not possible to store these parts.
New option to display master BOM and variant BOM in different formats: Due to UDE customer requests, a function has been added that will set a modified BOM list that is different from the master BOM list.

Improvement of item setting error when registering new parts.
Enhanced to map ECAD library properties to parts properties for multiple CADs.
Improve UBMS > Version Comparison Function Issues.
Enhanced to check the consistency of footprints when multiple CADs are used.
Modified to proceed when only PCB is checked in even if it is "Change All" type revise.
Added an option to attach files when revising a design.
Enhanced to map ECAD library properties to parts properties for multiple CADs.
