Kinematic Constraints
In Radioss, a kinematic condition is a nodal constraint applied to a set of nodes.
There are several different types of nodal constraints:
- Rigid Wall
- Rigid Body
- Boundary Conditions
- Tied Interface
- Cylindrical Joint
- Rigid Link
- Gear Type Joint
Numerical methods available in Radioss that apply to the kinematic
conditions are:
- Penalty method
- Rigid walls
- Main secondary kinematic condition
- Interface TYPE2, rigid body
- Local kinematic condition
- Rigid link, cylindrical joint
- Lagrange multiplier
- Old and new interfaces, rigid wall, rigid body, and so on
