# Real

This is a floating point value given to a parameter.

For example,
NODAL_OUTPUT {
output_time_interval = 0.3
}

specifies that the nodal values are to be output every 0.3 time units and at the last time step. Similar to integer parameters, real parameters may be confined to a valid range. For example, the output_time_interval must be greater than or equal to zero, where zero indicates that this option is inactive.
