Creation of Tube Points or Geometric Tubes from assimilation volumes

Introduction

This section describes the function of Flux PEEC permitting to the user to create Geometric Tubes or Tube Points starting from volumes . These volumes can be the result of a construction by assimilation carried out by the user, or the result of an Import from mechanical CAD.

Context of use

This method is essentially useful to model geometries coming from a Import from mechanical CAD and representing cables or wire bondings as it permits to easily create an assembly of Geometric Tubes whose shape will best approximate that of the imported volumes. Indeed, the cables or the wire bondings frequently have a shape that is not directly compatible with the criteria of shape necessary for the construction of unidirectional conductors by assimilation.
