Create a Project Directory
The project directory is the area where the data files for your project are stored.
When creating this directory, place it on a file system which is available on the
network. Somewhere in your home directory is usually a good starting point.
Note: Do
not create the data directory inside the FlowTracer software
installation, even if you have installed the software under your home directory.
By default, the files under $VOVDIR are excluded from the
graph, and your jobs will fail because they appear to have no outputs.
To create the project directory, execute the following:
% cd
% mkdir simple_test
% cd simple_test
