Create and Manage Groups

Weight Analytics allows you to create and manage Groups.

To create a Group:
  1. Click Security > Groups.
  2. In the Groups page, click the Create Group icon.
  3. In the Add Group dialog box, specify the Group Name and Group Description and then click Add Group.
    The new Group is created and displayed in the Groups page.

Removing a Group

Weight Analytics allows you to remove a Department and un-assign users associated with that Department.

To remove a Group:
  1. Select a Group and then click the icon to delete the selected group.
    A message confirming the deletion of the selected Group is displayed.
  2. Click OK to delete the selected Group.
    The Group is removed from the Groups page.

Edit Group Data

Weight Analytics allows you to edit the group data after creating a group.

To edit group data:
  1. In the Groups page, search for any Group in the Value text field and click the icon .
    The existing groups that match with the value entered is displayed.
  2. You can navigate between the search results by clicking the and icons.
  3. Select any user and click the Enable Changes icon to edit the group data.
  4. Click the Save Changes icon.
    The group details are updated with the changes that you have made.
  5. Optionally, click the Undo Changes icon to discard the changes that you have made to the group data.

Add Users to a Group

After creating a Group, you can add users to the group.

To add a user to a Group:
  1. Click the Users tabbed page and the users present in the system is populated.
    • Available Users: Displays all the users, except the users who are already included in a group.
    • Users: Displays all the selected users for the group.
  2. Select the required user in the Available Users section and then click the icon.
    The user is moved to the Users list.
    Note: Similarly you can assign different users to the new group.
  3. Select the required user in the Users section and then click the .
    The selected user is removed and moved to the Available Users table.
  4. After selecting the users for a group, click theSave Changes icon.
    The group data is updated in the system.
  5. To cancel any unsaved changes, click the Undo Changes icon.
