Classified Functionality

Classified is a new attribute which allows or restricts the visibility of the sensitive parts only to authorised users.

User roles enabled with classified function access can only view the classified parts in the catalogue.

The areas affected by the classified attribute are:

Parts Catalogue
BOM Management
Snapshots
Risk and Opportunities
Mission Management

Important Notes

Classified attribute propagates to upper node in Bill of Material, hence when you remove a
        classified access from a part, then you are required to remove the access manually from all
        the upper nodes.

If classified parts are added to an assembly, then the snapshots which contain that
        assembly will be restricted to authorised users.

When a classified access is removed from a role, then it is also required to remove the
        security access from that role.

When a user has no classified access and makes a part classified, then that particular part
        disappears from the catalogue view.
