LED
PollEx DFM searches for resisters near Light Emitting Diode (LED) components.
A LED emits light when an electric current pass through it. The simplest circuit to power a LED is a voltage source with a resistor and a LED in series. Such a resistor is often called a ballast resistor. The ballast resistor is used to limit the current through the LED and to prevent burns.
The LED dialog contains the following sections:
- LED Component Definition: Specify the LED target component that should be
placed with a resister in one terminal.
- Target Component Selection: Set the LED component from the component list.
- Resistor Component Definition
- Resistor Component Selection: Set the resistor component from the component list.
