Dome Sheet Guide Hole
Check the dome sheet guide hole specification, clearance with component, and the number of holes.
Dome sheet guide hole is a hole used in mobile phone design.
The Dome Sheet Guide Hole dialog contains the following
sections:
- Dome Sheet Guide Hole Definition: Define the dome sheet guide holes with the
component, via, and board figure hole.
- Component Group Selection: If dome sheet guide holes are defined with a component, select them from the component group list.
- Via Selection from Library: If dome sheet guide holes are defined with vias, select them from the via list.
- Board Figure Hole Size Range: If dome sheet guide holes are defined with a board figure hole, select them with the hole size range.
- Option
- Run Only when Following Component exist: To check the design validity, use this option. If a specified component is in the design, PollEx DFM will check the below checking options. Otherwise, PollEx DFM will not check the following options.
- Clearance Checking
- Clearance between Dome Sheet Guide Hole and Components: Set the clearance value between the dome sheet guide hole and components, except BGA type components.
- Clearance between Guide Hole and BGA Components: Set the clearance value between the dome sheet guide hole and BGA components.
- BGA Component Group Selection: Specify the BGA type component by selecting the component from the group list.
- Dome Sheet Guide Holes Counting: Check the number of dome sheet guide holes
in the design.
- Number of Guide Holes: Depending on the selecting option, count the maximum/minimum or matching number of dome sheet guide holes.
