Table 1. Tools to select and compare the motors


1 Selection of the motors area of the Motor Catalog application.
2 Box of tools to add the selected motors into the comparator.
2a Select one or several motors to compare.
2b Click on this icon to add the selected motors (one or several) into the comparator.
2c Click on this icon to add all the motors of the selected catalog into the comparator.
2d Click on this icon to get into the comparator application and compare the selected motors.
3 Box of tools to manage the selected motors into the comparator. See more details below.
3a Visualization of the selected motor list.
3b Click on this icon to get into the comparator application and compare the selected motors.
3c Button to remove the selected motors (one or several) from the comparator.
3d Button to remove all the motors from the comparator.
Note: It is not possible to mix motors that come from catalogs with different nature.

Comparison of motors

Here is the environment for the comparator of motors.

1 Selection of the motors area of the Motor Catalog application.
2 Box of tools to manage the selected motors into the comparator.
  • Edit: The selected motor (one motor) can be edited in Motor Factory.

    Edit a motor allows modification of its properties by using the functions of Motor Factory.

  • Remove: The selected motor is removed from the comparator.
  • Refresh: For updating data by considering new results obtained in the Motor Factory – Test environment.
  • Cancel: To close the comparator and get back to the Motor Catalog environment.
3 All the selected motors are aligned to help the comparison. The general data and performance are displayed.
Note: Vertical and horizontal scroll bars allow us to see respectively all the properties and all the selected motors.
4 Clicking on one field allows arranging the motors by considering the ascending or decreasing order of the selected data. The black arrow shows the order retained.
