  Learn the basics of the Inspire Extrude user interface.
  - Licensing Features
    Some ribbon tabs are associated with license features. Depending upon the tab you have invoked, additional units may be drawn. These features will be checked out for the duration of the session.

    The Inspire Extrude workspace includes the ribbon, modeling window, legend, and status bar.

Show or Hide

Show or hide an entity by clicking its icon in the Model Browser or using the context menu.

Objects that are hidden don't appear in the modeling window but are still included in all calculations such as optimization, static weight calculations, mass computations, etc. To exclude an object from these calculations, you need to deactivate it by configuring your model.

Hide

Hide an entity in the Model Browser by clicking its icon or using the context menu.

Press F2 to open the Model Browser.
Choose from the following options:
- Left-click the icon next to the entity.
- Right-click the entity name, and then click Hide Selected on the context menu.

Show

Show an entity in the Model Browser by clicking its icon or using the context menu.

Press F2 to open the Model Browser.
Choose from the following options:
- Left-click the grayed-out icon next to the entity.
- Right-click the grayed-out entity name, and then click Show on the context menu.

Tip: Additional show/hide options are available in the View menu, Show/Hide tool in the view controls, or by using keyboard shortcuts.
