What Is the Shrinkage Porosity Percentage Based On?

What is the shrinkage porosity percentage based on?

The shrinkage porosity percentage just shows areas where the ratio of voids to solid areas is greater than or equal to the specified percentage.
In Inspire Cast, there's an additional shrinkage porosity result that shows the porosity in volumetric units. But in the casting add-on it is only showed as a percentage.
