# Constant Damping Model

The linear damping force is computed according to the law:

$F=-{c}_{i}·v$

Where:

${c}_{i}$ is the constant damping value, and is found in the [CONSTANT_DAMPING_xx] block for the ${i}^{th}$ force direction in the property file.

$v$ is the deformation velocity in the bushing in the ${i}^{th}$ force direction.
