Channel

Create Profile

Analysis > Channel > Create Profile

This option is used to create the specified profiles for the channel. It is represented by a symmetrical 2D cross section of a channel with the Dimensions L1, H1 and A1. With origin as a midpoint of the dimension L1, the symmetric profile is created in the global YZ plane for the specified dimensions.

Create Path

Analysis > Channel > Create Path

This option is used to create the specified path for the channel. The path represents the direction in which the profile is extruded to create the channel.

With origin as the left extreme point of dimension L1, the symmetric path is created in the global XZ plane for the specified dimensions.

Create Channel

This option is used to create the channel for the input profile and path.

Note: It is not recommended to modify or rename channel in the ProfilePathChannel.gda model.
