Presentation of tutorials and technical documentation

Presentation

The user who wishes to be guided step by step in carrying out a Flux PEEC project can refer, as a supplement to this guide, to three tutorials that present in a detailed manner three examples of classical utilization of the software.

They deal with the following, respectively:

  • the modeling of a bus bar
  • the coupling of a Flux PEEC model with the PORTUNUS software
  • the modeling of a power electronic module.

They are briefly described below.

Tutorial 1

This document, which is named “ Bus bars modeling ”, deals with the modeling by the Flux PEEC software of a bus bar permitting the distribution of the electrical power.

The objectives of this tutorial are the presentation of a Flux PEEC application of the Supplied conductors type and the description of different functions for the configuration of tube conductors.

Tutorial 2

This tutorial is named “ Coupling of a power diode bridge Flux PEEC model into PORTUNUS ”.

It describes the modeling of electrical interconnections of a power diode bridge and the integration of the PEEC model thus obtained into the PORTUNUS environment, in order to carry out simulations at system level.

The objective of the document is the presentation of the application of the Impedance of conductors type and of functions permitting the export to PORTUNUS of equivalent circuit.

Tutorial 3

This document, which is named “ Power electronic module modeling ”, deals with the modeling with Flux PEEC of the structure of the electric interconnections in a three phased power inverter.

The main objective of this tutorial is the description of various functions for the configuration of conductors by assimilation.
