Set Gravity Direction

Orient the direction of gravity with respect to the model in order to control the flow of the liquid as it enters the mold and solidifies.

Click the Casting tab.
On the Cast Part icon, click Set Gravity Direction.
Use the microdialog options to realign the direction of gravity with respect to the model.
Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.

Microdialog Options

Align the direction of gravity to the normal of a surface on the model, or rotate the direction of gravity.


Option		Description
Rotate		Rotate the direction of gravity.
Align		Select a surface to align the direction of gravity to its normal.
Flip		Reverse the direction of gravity.
