AMDC Release Notes 2022.2

The release notes provide details about the new features and enhancements in AMDC 2022.2

AMDC Licensing

AMDC 2022.2 introduces Named User Licensing, where access to the software is tied to number of users. Named User Licensing will coexist with Hosted Licensing. Customers can now leverage a greater flexibility in selecting the most suitable licensing model.

New Materials

A rigorous, exhaustive & continuous material evaluation & material data management process in AMDC ensures that users get access to high quality validated material content as soon as they are available. AMDC 2022.2 adds 39 new datasets on most widely used fibres than can be used to derive virtually unlimited number of fibre reinforced materials.

Ziegler PEM Database

Users subscribed to AMDC Premium Access can now search, view, and compare Stick-Slip Test Data from over 12 thousand individual material pairs. The exhaustive test database covers the most widely used materials and gives a valuable insight into how various material combinations behave under Stick-Slip condition. Material pairs can be looked up using Brand Names, Manufacturer, Test Results and trade off studies. Thus help users find the most suitable combination, enabling them to make decisions early in the design phase.

Interactive Thermal Endurance Chart

Thermal Endurance charts are useful for predicting stability of polymers and for inferring how fast a polymer degrades over its lifetime. AMDC 2022.2 introduces the interactive Thermal Endurance charts calculated using the Arrhenius Principle, based on Long Term Heat Aging (LTHA) curves.

AMDC Authoring for Private Database

Data Edit Application is a powerful tool for DB Administrators allowing live creating/editing material data using an intuitive Web Based UI. In this release the functionality has been extended to support interactive editing of multi-point data (curves). Further, document links can now be directly assigned to materials.
