Joule Heating Analysis

  1. From the menu bar, click Analysis > Thermal > Joule Heating.
    The Joule Heating Analysis dialog opens.
  2. In the Joule Heating Analysis dialog, click Select Net.

    The Select Net dialog opens.
  3. In the Select Net dialog, select the net to analyze and click OK.

  4. In the Joule Heating Analysis dialog, click Ports.
    The Joule Heating Ports dialog opens.
  5. In the Joule Heating Ports dialog, change the Port Type of each component to Voltage Source and Current Sink, respectively depending on the function.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Joule Heating Analysis dialog, click Analyze.
