- Manufacture User Guides

  - Environment Migration
    Environment migration is a tool that migrates environment files used in the previous version of PollEx to the latest version.

        PollEx PCB supports various Zuken’s CAD design files: Cadstar, Board Designer, and PWS.
      - IPC-2581 Interface
        PollEx PCB supports IPC-2581 file such as *.cvg file.
      - CAM 350
        PollEx PCB supports CAM350 file such as *.CAM file.
      - Gerber Data Interface
        PollEx PCB supports four types of GERBER formats: 274X, 274D, Drill, and Square Hole.
      - DXF
        PollEx PCB supports DXF file such as *.dxf file.

    - Define Settings
      Under the setting menu, there are many settings for defining default value for using PollEx PCB. Use the menus under Setting in main menu.
    - Change the View
      Use the View menu to control the display more efficiently.
    - Define Properties
      Using Properties menu, you can see and edit properties of objects on board or library link.

CADVANCE Interface

PollEx PCB supports CADVANCE files such as *.dsn, *.dbg, and *.dbr files.

Extract ASCII file, *.dsn, *.dbg, *.dbr from CADVANCE.
From the menu bar, click File > Import ECAD > CADVANCE.
- Layer Set-Up: Specify CADVANCE layers to recognizes as a Board Outline and to exclude importing into PollEx.
  - Board Outline: If there is a specific layer for board outline, specify the layer name in the Board Outline field. This layer will be transferred to layer number 21 in PDB structure.
  - Except Layer: You can exclude unnecessary layers by entering the name of the layer when importing an ASCII file.
- Apply to Environment Setting: Apply settings to the environment setting.
- Cadvance ASCII File: Select the ASCII files.
  - DSN (*.dsn): PCB routing data.
  - DBG (*.dbg): Layer and pad stack information.
  - DBR (*.dbr): Graphical date such as silk screen, solder mask, metal mask, and board figure).
Note: The DSN is mandatory file to import the CADVANCE design. The other two files are optional files.
