Default Setting

  1. Setting UPMS environment or set up the ECAD database.
    1. Remove UPMS data: Click Execute to remove all UPMS data.
      Note: Data cannot be restored once it is removed.
    2. Use alt symbol: Set to On if alternative symbol information is used.
    3. Use the ordering company CPN management: Set to On to use the ordering company CPN.
    4. Use PCB only part: Set to On to use PCB only part.
    5. Use create UPF: Set to On to generate UPF file when creating or editing part libraries.
      • UPE generation standard - The UPF file is created based on the selected type (CPN, MPN).
      • Select CPN if the UPF generation standard is CPN.
  2. Legacy part synchronize option.
    1. Run synchronizing legacy part manually : Click Execute to manually enable legacy part synchronization.
    2. Use synchronizing the legacy part - If this option is activated, the UDE runs the function to sychronize the legacy part from the part interface
    3. Synchronize only parts that has the registered legacy class code. - This function needs to filter only the electronic part.
      When this option is enabled, this synchronization feature filters parts with legacy parts product family codes to register with UDE and these parts are added or updated only to UDE.
    4. Legacy parts Sychronization Type - The legacy part interface table of the UDE has the column to distinguish that the part is newly created or the property of the part is changed. The column name is ‘TYPE_FLAG’. We defined that the part is added if the column value is ‘A’. And if it is ‘U’, the part is updated.
