High Frequency NVH
High frequency NVH is an implementation of Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA), and is used to predict and analyze the vibration and acoustic response of complex dynamic systems.

Create and evaluate evaluation lines and optimize interfaces to eliminate squeak and rattle issues.

Energy Distribution - Load

Load an H3D or OP2 file and perform the result selection.

In the Energy Results field, select and load an OptiStruct *.op2 or an *.h3d file.
Select Comparator Group > Group Details to view the energy comparator group details, or proceed to the Result Selection section.
In the Result Selection section, select a Subcase and an Energy Type from the respective drop-down menus, then click System Energy.
The available energy types are kinetic energy, strain energy and damping energy. System Energy initiates the calculation of the total energy of the system over the available frequency range.
A system total energy line curve is plotted once the calculation is completed.
