Entity Types
HyperWorks entities are often used as string parameters in commands that act directly on entities in some fashion, such as creating filtered sets that contain only a specific entity type.
Below is a list of all of the entities available in HyperWorks.
These entities can be used verbatim in any command that accepts an
<entity_type> (or similar) argument.
*These entity types are specific to surfaces. Topopoints represent vertex or
fixed surface points, while topolines represent surface topological edges/lines. They are
subsets of the points and lines entity types.
