  - Transfer Data
    After preparing your model, use the Data Transfer tool to transfer mesh data to the environment used for aerodynamic and aeroacoustic setup.

    - Assemblies Overview
      An assembly is a list of parts and sub-assemblies that organizes your model hierarchically to reflect the data structure of the modeled product.
    - Parts Overview
      A part is a geometric object made up of shell elements. Parts can be grouped together into assemblies and sub-assemblies, so that you can organize your model hierarchically.
    - Create Assemblies
      Create an assembly and add parts to it in the Model Browser.
    - Edit Parts and Assemblies
      Edit the name, color, visibility, and associated properties of parts and assemblies using the Property Editor. Rename and delete parts and assemblies.
    - Define Faceting Parameters
      Each geometry part has a Faceting property.
  - Prepare the Model
    Set up the wind tunnel and prepare the aerodynamics and parameters of your model.

Define Faceting Parameters

Each geometry part has a Faceting property.

From the Property Editor, define Faceting parameters.
1. Enable the Override check box to recreate the facets.
2. Select the Resolution.
Optional: Manually control all parameters.
1. For Resolution, select Custom.
2. Enter a value for Chordal Deviation to define the maximum deviation from the underlying curve.
3. Enter a value for Angular Deviation to define the maximum difference in normals between neighboring elements.
4. Enter a value for Average Element Size to define the element size.
