Import and Export Templates

Quickly import and export templates containing full simulation settings, part definitions, or mesh controls.

Note: When importing a template, the names of the parts referenced in the .xml file need to match the part names in the current geometry, otherwise their properties won't be mapped.

Restriction: Only available in the aerodynamics and aeroacoustics setup environment.

From the menu bar, go to File > State and select an import/export option.
Browse to your working directory and click Open/Save to either import and export an .xml template file.

Note: The <model_data> section written to the .xml file is not read by the ultraFluidX solver. It is however necessary to import the .xml file back into HMCFD as a template file.
