Assign Simulation Model

There are two ways to assign the simulation model:
  • Parts Menu (Properties > Parts):
    • Assign simulation models to each part individually.
    • View the status of property assignments for all parts in the current PCB system.

  • Components Menu (Properties > Components):

    • Assign RLC models (Resistance, Inductance, Capacitance) to passive components based on their reference designators.

You can assign part properties in two ays for assigning Part Properties :

  • Individual Assignment:
    • Assign properties to each part manually if unified parts (standardized parts) are not available.
  • Automatic Assignment:
    • Automatically assign properties when unified parts are available, streamlining the process.

If RLC values for passive components are defined in the CAD file, they will be displayed automatically.

Note: In the Link field, you can set the path for the Part Library directory and MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) Reference file.
