Export to GDSII

  1. From the menu bar, click File > Export To > GDSII.
    The setting window for selecting the data to display appears.
  2. Click Add Output Layer to select the layer combination to be output.

  3. In the Add Output Layer dialog, set the layers and condition to be output and click OK.

  4. Select the output file format.
    Output format can be a binary file (*.gds) or ASCII file (*.txt).
  5. Select a layer to output as a GDSII file from the PDBB layers.
  6. Output file name.
    Depending on the output format, *.gds for Binary and *.txt for Text are used. File Name is automatically assigned using the user-specified Layer Name. The name to be output can be edited.
  7. Select Output Options.
    • Export Text: Select whether to output text. If option is selected, text is output.
    • Export Data using SREF (Structure Reference): Repeated Flash Data can be registered as a reference shape and used as a library.
  8. Select options for conversion from ARC to Separated LINE.
    GDSII Data has no structure to describe ARC, so ARC should be divided into small segments and output.
    • Angle: Divide ARC to small line based on angle specified in Divide Value.
    • Length: Divide ARC to small line based on length specified in Divide Value. The figure below shows ARC divided into 10 degrees.

  9. Click Add output layer to set the output data you want.
