NavOps enables administrators to define virtual appliances based on models, specify hardware configurations, add or remove
applications and deploy the clusters on-demand on popular cloud service providers.
Once you create an appliance, the Appliances list is updated and the state of the
appliance is displayed as DOWN.
Launch NavOps.
The list of appliances is displayed.
The list displays the Appliance Name, Model Name that is selected for
this appliance, Cloud Provider of the appliance, Appliance State, Nodes
Count and Uptime (number of days the appliance is up and running).
Note: Click to change the column list that is
displayed.
Click of the appliance and select Start
appliance from the context menu.
The selected appliance will start and deploy with the selected applications
and the parameters set.
A series of notifications are displayed providing the information on starting
the appliance.
Note: Click to view the notifications and the steps
that are performed to start the appliance.
The appliance state will change from DOWN > DEPLOYING > UP.
Once the appliance is deployed, it will be listed in the Altair
Marketplace and available for use.
