What's New
Here’s a quick look at the latest features available with Altair One.
Getting Started
Altair Material Modeler (AMM) is specialized CAE software powered by COMPOSE technology. It rapidly and accurately generates simulation-ready material cards for nonlinear bulk materials like metals and plastics, using raw test data.

Installation
Install AMM on the user's workstation and configure the basic settings to import data and run simulations.
Basic Settings
To get started configure these basic settings.
Material Modeler Basic
This chapter provides information from preparing data to generating a material card.
Side Toolbar
Use the toolbar keys to save the session with configurations applied, reload, export curves, quit, and finish.
Material Modeler Advanced
The chapter provides information on the advanced details such as strain rate, failure, and simulation for a model.
- Advanced Modeler
  Enhance the model testing by performing the advanced modeler to generate strain rates, failure, and a simulation run.
- Strain Rate Panel
  If strain-dependent tests have been performed (tensile tests at different velocities) and the curves are available, you can include strain rate dependencies.
- Failure Panel
  Here are two different criteria for generating failure.
- Simulation Panel
  The validation run is supported for Radioss only and it provides a quick overview of your material card.

Advanced Modeler
