    WallMan tool is used to prepare a geometry database (3D model) that is used as part of a ProMan project. Preparing geometries in WallMan, or even just converting them from other sources in WallMan, is a common step in indoor and urban scenarios.

      Display the difference between the two sets of prediction results obtained using the multi-wall model (COST 231) and the 3D ray tracing (SRT) model.

      In ProMan, the indoor database can be viewed in 3D to validate the physical structure and results.

      This example showed how to analyze a Wi-Fi router in a building, to create the 3D model (indoor database) using WallMan and to obtain coverage plots using ProMan.

Introduction to WinProp
WinProp is a complete suite of tools in the domain of wireless propagation and radio network planning. With applications ranging from satellite to terrestrial, from rural via urban to indoor radio links, WinProp’s innovative wave propagation models combine accuracy with short computation time.
Typical Workflow in WinProp
View the typical workflows when working with propagation simulations in specific scenarios, how to add a network planning to a propagation simulation, include a receiver pattern, set up a time-variant scenario, include multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) at both the base station and the mobile station, connectivity analysis of sensor networks and optimization.
WallMan
The WallMan component offers a convenient facility to generate and edit vector building databases.
TuMan
The TuMan tool enables you to generate and modify tunnel scenarios.
AMan
Use AMan to generate, edit and analyze a single antenna. Superimpose multiple antennas radiating similar signals to determine the actual antenna pattern while taking into consideration the local environment.
ProMan
The ProMan component includes wave propagation models for different scenarios and network planning simulators for various air interfaces.
Methods
WinProp includes empirical and semi-empirical models (calibration with measurements possible), rigorous 3D ray-tracing models as well as the unique dominant path model (DPM).
Main Applications
In WinProp various air interfaces and applications are pre-defined: broadcasting, cellular, wireless access, WiFi, sensor networks, ICNIRP and EM compliance.
WinProp Utilities
The WinProp utilities consist of the Launcher utility and the Updater.

Reference information is provided in the appendix.

Specifying the Prediction Resolution and Height

Define the resolution grid for the result matrices and the height at which the prediction results are computed.

Launch the Edit Project Parameters dialog using one of the following workflow:
- On the Project menu, click Edit Project Parameters.
- On the Project toolbar, click the Edit Project Parameters icon.
- Press F3 to use the keyboard shortcut.
Click the Simulation tab.
Under Resolution of prediction results, in the Resolution field, enter a value of 0.05 m.
The prediction result will be computed with a resolution (grid) of 0.05 m.
Under Prediction Heights (relative to ground), in the Heights field, enter a value of 1 m.
The prediction result will be computed at the height of 1m (height of a desk with a Wi-Fi router).
Under Additional Prediction Planes, select the Prediction Planes defined in database check box.
