Use the Midmesh: Create Midedge tool to create a midedge.

From the 2D ribbon, click the tool.

Using the Node List selector, select 2 or more nodes to
create a midedge.
- Optional:
Along with the Node List, select guide lines using the
Guide A and Guide B selectors.
These guide the path for the new midedge.
No edge, single edge, or two edge chains are allowed.
- Optional:
Without selecting any nodes from the Node List selector,
select guidelines using the Guide A and the
Guide B selectors for the new midedge.

Click Create.
