Create Field From Free-Body Sections

Use the FBD Manager to create pairs of entities, <field, table>. Translational degrees of freedom and Rotational degrees of freedom are separate fields. This tool creates a field per loadcase and free-body section.

1. From the Post ribbon, select the FBD Manager tool from the Plot group.

2. Select free-body sections.
3. Select loadcases to consider.
4. From the Options tab, define the Tolerance.
5. From the Export tab, select Free body forces/moments, Grid point forces/moments, or Displacement/Rotation.
6. If Grid point forces/moments is selected, select relevant contributions to take into account.
7. Click .
   The Create Fields from FBD dialog opens.
8. Select sources to create field based on result type and click Create.
