Position a Datum Plane

  1. From the HyperGraph 3D toolbar, click the Datum Planes icon, .
  2. From the Datum Planes panel, select a datum plane from the Datum list or from the screen.
  3. Select the Position tab.
  4. Under Method:, set the orientation method:
    • Vertical along the Z axis
    • Horizontal along the X axis
    • Horizontal along the Y axis
    • Three points
  5. Under Orientation:, select points on the curve to define the orientation.
  6. Select a base point or enter XYZ values to define the location.
  7. Click Apply.
