The automatic assessment allows the understanding of the squeak phenomena using the
following:
Max Principal P2P
The largest magnitude in the MAX principal direction of the movement in
the contact plane. To determine possible risk this value can be compared
to the (IR)-1 from stick-slip
testing.
Min Principal P2P
The largest magnitude in the MIN principal direction of the movement in
the contact plane.
Note: It’s only valid to review Dynamic Tolerance if you have made sure the Gap
Direction for all E-Lines is properly defined.
A summary of all E-Lines in the model for all result files and
loadcases loaded in the session are also provided for easy comparison and report
creation. Figure 1.
