Post Processing

Launch and explore SnRD Post Processing.

Post processing requires the model used for analyzing the squeak and rattle phenomena and the solver deck (.FEM) exported from the pre-processing module.

This solver deck is used throughout post-processing for creation of contour plots.

1. From the menu bar, click HyperMesh > HyperView.
   HyperView opens.
2. From the menu bar, click File > Load > Preferences File.
   The Preferences dialog opens.
3. Select Squeak & Rattle and click Load.
   The SnRD tab is generated on the menu bar.
4. From the menu bar, select SnRD > SnRD-Post.
   The SNRD-Post Browser opens.

Use the SNRD-Post Browser to complete the following:

• Load files and post process results.
• Perform Sensitivity Analysis to understand and evaluate modal sensitivity.
• Study squeak and rattle effects under Combined Loadings.
• Setup optimization solver decks after evaluating modal sensitivity and elimination methods.
• Study and analyze Stochastics and Design of Experiment runs.
