Editing a Sort Order Definition

You can edit a sort order definition to change its name or to modify the list of sort fields.

Select Sorts on the Table Design Ribbon. The Sort Properties Window displays.
Select a sort on the Sorts selector.
Edit the sort's properties as needed. For instance:
- To change the position of a field within the sort order definition, right-click on the field in the Sort fields list to display a context menu, then select either the Move Up or Move Down command.
- To change the sort order of a field within the sort order definition, right-click on the field in the Sort fields list to display a context menu, then select the Change Order command. This command toggles the order between Ascending and Descending.
Choose Accept to update the sort order definition, otherwise choose Cancel to exit the dialog without making changes.
