The File Menu
Monarch Classic's File menu allows you to open and save data source files, models, and projects; specify page settings; print report, table, or summary data; close any file open in the current Monarch session; access Help; and exit the application.
You can view lists of all recently opened files and documents (1) at the far-right side of the Open menu and (2) by clicking Recent Documents in the Open menu. You can click Clear All to remove all unpinned files and documents in these lists. Pinned files are retained in these lists even after the clear operation.
If you intend to work on a file multiple times in different Monarch sessions, you may want to pin it so that it remains at the top of these lists. To do so, hover your mouse at the right side of the file name until a pin icon displays. Click this icon when it appears.
