Overview: Sorting a Summary

In Monarch Data Prep Studio, the records in a summary are arranged in the order that they are extracted or imported. However, you may want to view the data in another order. To sort a summary table, you define a sort order and then apply it to the table. A sort order definition tells Monarch Data Prep Studio which fields to sort and the order, or direction, for each field (ascending or descending).
