Altair Material Modeler - Web
This chapter walks through the new Material Modeler, web-based environment and introduces the steps required to model hyperelastic materials using AMM by creating projects , adding a material and a quasi-static workflow, importing data, fitting the available models, and finally saving the state and exporting fitted data for CAE analysis.
Projects
Projects are a way of collecting what has been done for one or more materials. Depending on a specific customer's need, a project might contain one material or all the materials used in a sub-assembly (e.g. a truck door) or a full product (e.g. a coffee maker). Create, open, share,and manage new projects on this page. A project contains the project's name, the Author (registered user who created the project), Type (user definable), Email & Phone to contact the project's author, and any notes pertaining to the project.

- View Dashboard
  Dashboard provides logged in user information, application build and version, and recent projects. You can also create a new project from this page. If the user prefers a dark theme, it is available via the icon in the upper right corner.
- Projects

      Quickly access previously opened projects.
  - Share a Project
    Collaborate with team members by sharing projects. Only published workflows and materials are shareable.
  - View Projects
    View and manage all available projects.

  Create material entries before importing test data or applying models.
- Add Data
  Upload experimental test data to characterize the material.
- Add Workflow
  Set up model workflows to evaluate physical behavior.
- Add Plot Data
  Visualize raw input data before model fitting.
- Export CAE Card
  Generate material cards for integration with CAE solvers.

Create Project

Create, modify and delete a project.

To create a new project in Altair Material Moeler:

Launch the AMM application. The AMM Dashboard page is displayed.
Click on the + New Project button.

Enter Project Name.
Enter Project Type.
Logged in user Email is displayed. You may modify as required.
Enter your Phone number and any Notes.
Click Create New Project. The project is added to the Recent Projects list. The list provides recently access projects displaying project name, owner, and timestamp of project created.
