    After opening a result file, you can determine which subcase(s) you want to translate.
  - Configuration Files
    HvTrans uses configuration files to receive a set of data requests and settings from you. These files can be created manually or by using the HvTrans GUI.
  - Batch Mode
    To start a batch mode process, run hvtrans.exe in a DOS command prompt on a PC or use a Unix shell. If you do not specify complete arguments in the command line, the HvTrans GUI is displayed for you to fill in more information.

Launch HvTrans

Launch HvTrans on Windows.
1. Select Start > All apps > Altair <version>.
2. Select Tools > HvTrans <version>.
Launch HvTrans on Linux.
1. In a Unix shell, execute the hvtrans script in the altair/scripts directory.
A GUI is invoked.
