AUTOSPC

I/O Options and Subcase Information Entry The AUTOSPC command can be used to automatically constrain stiffness singularities and near singularities with single point constraints.

Format

AUTOSPC (output_print, output_punch) = option

Definitions

Argument Options Description
output_print <PRINT, NOPRINT>
PRINT (Default)
Enables the printout of a summary table of singularities.
NOPRINT
Disables the printout of a summary table of singularities.
output_punch <PUNCH, NOPUNCH>
PUNCH
Creates a PUNCH file with SPC data for each AUTOSPC degree of freedom (DOF) for each . The identification number (SID) of the SPC is the ID.
NOPUNCH (Default)
The PUNCH file with SPC data for each AUTOSPC degree of freedom (DOF) for each is not created.
option <YES, NO>
YES (Default)
The stiffness singularities and near singularities are automatically constrained with SPCs.
NO
The stiffness singularities and near singularities are not automatically constrained.

Comments

  1. This entry replaces parameters PARAM, AUTOSPC and PARAM, PRGPST.
  2. The SPCOFF and SPCOFF1 Bulk Data Entries can be used to exclude degrees-of-freedom from AUTOSPC.
