Installation

Installation options and recommendations for nanoFluidX.

Altair nanoFluidX is available through the HyperWorks CFD Solvers installer or SimLab installer, both available on Altair One Marketplace. The SimLab interface includes integrated access to nanoFluidX.

The nanoFluidX installation includes:

nanoFluidX executables
Demo cases
Helper scripts
nFX[c]
nFX[m]
nFX[p]
ParaView toolbox and materials for rendering

Additionally, for advanced post-processing capability, the open source application ParaView from Kitware may be used to post-process nanoFluidX results. This can be downloaded from the ParaView website.

Note: nanoFluidX 2025.1 is compatible with ParaView 5.12 version.
