AMDC Public Database Features

  1. New Improved Licensing Model
    • Altair introduces the new licensing model for AMDC, Explorer and ExplorerPlus.
    • Explorer grants access to all material data, plots, and CAE interfaces to Altair tools. Unlock the full potential of AMDC with ExplorerPlus – download CAE cards for third-party simulation tools, access PEM test data, and study the carbon footprint of materials. For more information, refer to the AMDC Access and License on the online Help.
  2. Find Similar Materials: A powerful tool to discover alternative materials based on mechanical, thermal, or electrical properties. Compare them and study trade-offs to select the best material for your product.
  3. Notification Badges for New and Updated Materials: Easily identify newly added or updated materials with notification badges, indicating recent data updates.
  4. Preview CAE Cards: A preview option has been added to the CAE Model tab, which displays a text preview of the CAE card being downloaded.
