Altair Material Data Center (AMDC) provides accurate multi-domain material properties to enable the creation of sustainable,
efficient, and lightweight designs.
Visualize advanced and accurate material properties and curves. Also, view material impact using Global Warming Potential
(GWP) and set your data preferences.
View information such as material name, quality, type, provider, version, chemical composition of a material, material
test information, and detailed material properties.
The material properties data such as Fatigue Properties, Mechanical Properties is displayed. The tested data for these
properties is also displayed as supplied by the provider.
Many materials have multi point data associated with them (For example, stress-strain data or PVT data for molding
applications). Such data can be viewed as a plots in AMDC.
An administrator is provided access to the AMDC Dashboard to access specfic administrative related tasks to maintain
up to date information in the Altair Material Database.

Choose one of the following:
Double-click the material.
Hover over a material, click
A window opens to the right.
By default, the Info tab displays general
information of the selected material.
Note: Click
to view the material information in a full
screen mode.
Click Properties.
The material properties data is displayed. In this example: The Fatigue
Properties, Mechanical Properties for Axial Loading and also its testing data is
displayed.
Click Generic Data to view the generic data from the
same class of materials.
Click to export the material properties data
along with the generic data.
Click Plot to view the plot data for the selected
material.
Select the plot curve value from the drop down list.
The chart data is displayed for the selected material and the curve
value.
Hover over the plot area to view chart options such as zoom in, zoom out,
auto scale to original chart view, reset axes, and export it as a PDF
document.
